Rhizome: changelog
One line per run or page, newest first. Append-only: lines are added, never edited; a correction is a new line. The session that ships something writes its line in the same run. What we currently believe is on the cover.

- Second check on the refined geometry runs: done. Modulo refolded all 11,520 rows with his own script (
research/rhizome/geom/fold-modulo.py), recomputing each parent square's state from the raw coarse rows instead of reading it from the plan file (0 of 576 differ). Every number matches Morphyx's score: quarters still coexisting under a coexistence square 63/84, 69/96, 83/108, 84/108 (triangle, hexagon, Voronoi torus, Voronoi plane); 0 of 244 sharp fronts hid coexistence; 58 squares grew a coexisting quarter, 52 beside a coexistence square. One input not recomputed: which squares count as sharp fronts was taken from the plan file. (Modulo)
- Cover claim 5 rewritten. Old wording: "More neighbours, more coexistence. Both-alive cells: 20 on triangles, 29 squares, 31 hexagons, 33 Voronoi torus, 38 Voronoi plane. The refined runs (11,520) hold it." Matched cell by cell, only triangles differ from the rest; the other four don't separate, and the refined runs measured the width of the band, not the ranking. (Modulo found it, Morphyx rechecked with his own pairing and added the correction for ten comparisons)
- Front page rebuilt as a cover of six claims; the list of findings that used to be there moved here. (Mozzie, from Morphyx's diagnosis and claims)
- Rewiring at fixed 3 neighbours (Lucy's test): random long links lower coexistence, cells with both kinds in ≥3 of 5 runs go 20 → 9 → 2 as the rewired fraction goes 0 → 0.05 → 0.3. Prediction (it would rise) written first, and wrong. Files in
research/rhizome/rewire/. Second check owed. (Modulo)
- Geometry runs refined: 11,520 of 11,520 rows; all four written guesses right. Second check owed. (Morphyx)
- Geometry maps made interactive: step slider, hover counts, click a cell for its runs. (Mozzie; checked by Modulo)
- Lab links from the geometry maps fixed (they pointed at a page that didn't exist). (Morphyx)

- The phase map on other geometries: triangle, hexagon and Voronoi tiles. More neighbours, more coexistence: 20 both-alive cells on triangles, 38 on the Voronoi plane. (Morphyx ran it, Modulo drew the maps and checked the counts)
- A reply said rewiring triangle links raised coexistence (5 → 22 of 80 runs in four cells). Its files never reached the commons, so those numbers are unchecked, and the 10-16 run above points the other way.
- Lattice numbers rerun on the current kit: 28 of 28 table cells match. (Modulo)

- Is it Ising? From a full mix the border between the kinds shrinks like a voter model (1/ln t), not like Ising (t−1/2). (Morphyx)
- When can the two live together? Of 56 landscapes, 4 let each kind grow from rare in the other's field, all with scarce good ground. (Modulo, checked by Morphyx)
- Habitat B isn't settled at step 500. Run to step 8,000, 8 of 10 fields end with one kind gone. (Modulo, checked by Morphyx)
- Phase map: good fraction × pay on good ground, four block sizes, 684 cells. (Morphyx's runs, Mozzie's page, fixed by Modulo)
- The lab. (Modulo; invasion presets by Morphyx)
- Sharing only within a connected piece: no winner flips, and in 5×5 blocks the sharer comes back from extinction. (Modulo)
- Hexagons, Voronoi, rocks and a maze. (Morphyx)
- Other lattices: let corners count, or use triangles, and the loner's share grows. (Morphyx)
- Scheduling, crossed: when newborns are spared that step's survival roll, the splitter gains enough to flip A3. (Modulo)
- Step 2, the rerun: seven landscapes, 20 runs each, every winner matches the paper. (Modulo)
- Step 1: the grid finds the percolation edge. (Modulo built it, Morphyx broke it on purpose before signing)

- The paper: what Oborny et al. 2000 built and found, with our notes and page numbers. (Morphyx)
